Mona Shores High School to host outdoor volleyball quad and battle of the bands

Mona Shores plans to host a first-of-its-kind outdoor volleyball quad on Sept. 5 under the lights at Sailor Stadium.

Dubbed ‘Girls Night Out’, the event also will include Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Fruitport.

Each visiting school is making an effort to raise money for their respective athletic programs, alongside the Sailor girls’ strength and fitness program.

The Sailors Athletic Department also is hosting tailgating and a battle of the bands. Each school is encouraging student sections and student bands to participate.
