Nick VanderKooi is back to again lead Fremont Providence Christian in cross country

BOYS
Senior and three-time all state runner Nick VanderKooi will again lead Providence Christian this season. VanderKooi’s 16:05 personal best from last season should put him among the best runners in Division 4 this year. Last year, he was also named to the Muskegon all-area team and was an MHSAA regional champion. This past year in track, he was the runner-up in the 1,600 at the Division 4 state finals. Other runners who should also contribute for Providence Christian are senior Josh Clapp and freshman Tim Brandt. Coach Swinger hopes to see each of the new runners improve as the season goes on and that they will have strong races at regionals.

Senior Kendall Ouwinga will lead the Storm this season.
