The West Michigan Force, a semi-pro football team, will host the Great Lakes Football League championship game at Mona Shores High School on Saturday night.

The Force (11-0) will take on the Capital City Stealth (10-2) in the game, which kicks off at 6 p.m.

To the winner goes a trip to the American Football League national championship game, which will be played in January.

There are a handful of players with ties to high schools in the area, including starting quarterback Aaron James, an assistant coach at Mona Shores.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and free for 5 and younger.
