Setting records is nothing new to the Mona Shores girls golf team.

In Tuesday’s dominance of the OK Black Jamboree No. 2, two golfer’s broke the schools record for nine holes.

Senior Hailey Hrynewich recorded a 3-under par 33 to set the school record while Morgan Smith also eclipsed the previous record by shooting a 34. Smith set the record two weeks ago with a 35.

As a team, the Sailors won the event at Winding Creek by 59 strokes over second-place Reeths-Puffer. The Sailors final team score was 147, which tied the school record for team score for nine holes.

Britni Gielow and Kelsey McKinley shot 40s to complete the scoring.
