The Muskegon Community College women’s soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Schoolcraft on Saturday.

The hosts led 2-0 at the half.

MCC had four shots on goal. Coach Josh Watson lauded the efforts of Emily Manchester in net and Alyssa Panozzo.

“Emily made some great saves today,” Watson said. “The score could have b een a lot worse if it wasn’t for her.

“We struggled with creating opportunities to score,” he said. “They were under a bunch of pressure in the middle of the field.”

The Jayhawks’ weekend road trip concludes on Sunday with a 3 p.m. game at Jackson Community College.
