Ruvell Martin, who was cut by the Buffalo Bills on Friday, was back with the team on Tuesday.

The addition of Martin to the Bills’ 53-man roster gives the team five wide receivers, according to the website buffalonews.com

Rookie cornerback Ron Brooks suffered a foot injury and underwent surgery last week. That opened up a roster slot for Martin, a graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central High School

Martin, 30, appeared in 14 games for the Bills last season. Much of his playing time was on special teams as the gunner (wide position on punt coverage).

Martin was one of the Bills’ leading tacklers on special teams last season. As a wide receiver, he had seven catches.
