Western Michigan Christian bagged four first-half goals and made it hold up in a 4-1 boys soccer victory over the visiting Freedom Christian Falcons.

Chaise Schuiteman scored two goals, sophomore John Larson had one as did senior Alec Breit.

Schuiteman scored after breaking free from several Falcon defenders on a long free kick by goaltender Jacob Berens. That goal came with 23:13 left in the first half.

Larson scored his first varsity goal less than three minutes later off an assist by Schuiteman.

Schuiteman looped a 25-yard shot over the head of the Freedom goalkeeper with 10:26 left in the first half to make it 3-0.

Breit’s free kick from 22 yards out found the back of the net with 9:22 left in the half.

Freedom got on the board on a looping shot that sailed over the head of WMC backup goalkeeper Christian Rogers with 12:58 left in the game.

WMC (10-6-1) hosts Fruitport onĀ  Thursday in its regular-season finale.
