Willie Bennick’s first-half goal helped lift Grand Haven to a 1-0 win over Mona Shores in the Division 1 district championship game at Grand Haven High School.
Mona Shores goalie Joey Wolffis finished with four saves and the Sailors outshot Grand Haven 10-5.
The win sends Grand Haven into Wednesday’s regional semifinal game at Holt High School where they will play the winner of the Battle Creek Lakeview district at 7 p.m.
