Grant scored three times in the second quarter to break a 7-all tie in a 28-13 Lakes 8 Conference win over Tri-County on Friday.

The host Tigers’ Garrett Bomay scored on a 33-yard run for the game’s opening touchdown, but Tri-County returned the ensuing kickoff 67 yards to tie the game.

Bomay connected on two TD passes to start the second quarter, 13 yards to Trevor Boyd and 15 yards to Austin Jensen. Justin Bull returned a blocked field goal 88 yards for the Tigers final score of the half and a 28-7 lead.

Brandon Bouwkamp led Grant with 17 carries for 109 yards, Bull added 52 yards on six carries and Bomay had 24 yards on nine carries and was 3-of-7 passing for 41 yards.
