Chad Large passed for two touchdowns and rushed for 95 yards as Ludington got by host Fremont, 14-7 in Lakes 8 Conference action Friday.
After a scoreless first quarter, Large connected with Trevor Overholt on a 9-yard TD pass to stake the Orioles to a 7-0 lead at halftime.
The duo would find the end zone again in the third quarter, this time Large finding Overholt from 30 yards out.
Fremont’s Jared Smith scored on a 48-yard run to cut the lead to 14-7 in the fourth quarter.
Large finished the game 13-of-23 passing for 173 yards, while Overholt had five carries for 27 yards and led the defense with nine tackles. Alex English also added nine tackles for Ludington.
