The Muskegon Lumberjacks kept their winning ways intact on Saturday night topping the Chicago Steel 4-0 in Chicago.

Muskegon has not lost a game in regulation in its first eight games of the season.

Goaltender Kevin Lindskoug posted the shutout with 27 saves.

Chad McDonald gave Muskegon a 1-0 lead on a pass from Tyler Heinonen with 48 seconds left in the first period.

Muskegon took over in the second period by scoring three goals in the span of four minutes.

Scoring early in the period was Joe Cox on a backhand. He took a pass from Frederick Tiffels and scored to make it 2-0.

Ben Foster scored on a breakaway to give Muskegon a 3-0.

Just two minutes later, Heinonen found the top of the net on a pass from Connor Hurley to close out the scoring for the Lumberjacks.

Muskegon outshot Chicago 30-27.

Muskegon returns to action on Friday when they host Waterloo at L.C. Walker Arena.
