Reeths-Puffer rolls past Grand Rapids Union behind Betts-Render

Johndries Betts-Render rushed for 220 yards and five touchdowns as Reeths-Puffer rolled on the road, earning a 55-8 OK Black Conference win at Grand Rapids Union on Friday.

The Rockets built a 41-0 lead by halftime as Betts-Render scored on runs of 60, 1, 38 and 55 yards. Julian Munday, who finished with eight carries for 80 yards, added TD runs of 1 and 29 yards for Puffer in the half.

Betts-Render finished off his day with a 46-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter and Jewell Glover scored on a 2-yard run in the fourth to build a 55-0 lead for Reeths-Puffer.
