The Reeths-Puffer Rockets surrendered the game’s first goal then came back with two second-half goals and defeated Fruitport 2-1 on Monday.
Ryan Craker, with assistance from Taylor McLaughlin, gave the Trojans a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the game.
But in the second half, the Rockets came back with a goal from Drake Yarian to tie the game. Daniel Sanchez drew the assist.
The game-winning goal was an unassisted tally by Cody Loss with 16:45 remaining.
Troy Gilmore had three saves in net for the Rockets (11-4). Loghan Stong had eight saves in the Fruitport net. The Trojans fell to 8-6-2.
“The Rockets played great and fast the entire game,” Fruitport coach Greg Kobylak said. “The Trojans played good, but are struggling to get over the hump and get to the point where we  start winning close games against top teams.”
