Three first-half goals propelled the No. 1-ranked Spring Lake Lakers to a 4-0 boys soccer victory over Reeths-Puffer on Thursday night.

The victory moves the Lakers (19-0-1) into Saturday’s Division 2 district final game against Lakes 8 rival Fruitport, which defeated Kenowa Hills 4-0 on Thursday.

KJ Sanchez scored two goals to lead the Lakers. Caleb Winter and Adam Clauss had one goal each. Clauss also chipped in with an assist.

Laker goalkeeper Joe Czajka had five saves.

Troy Gilmore made eight saves in the Rocket net.
