Grant’s district soccer run ended Wednesday night with a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Tri-County.

Tri-County moves on to face off against Comstock Park – which earned a 4-2 victory over Reed City in Wednesday’s other district semifinal game – in Friday’s 3 p.m. district final match.

Tri-County was led by a four-goal performance by Cade Dailey, while teammate Marco Lagunas added the squad’s other goal.

Grant’s lone goal came from Alex Barajas, assisted by Diego Perales, in the first half.

The Tigers trailed 2-1 at the break.
