Grand Haven placed 19th at the Division 1 boys cross country state finals meet at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn on Saturday.

The Bucs finished with 468 points, while Highland-Milford won the team championship with 83 points.

Earning all-state honors for Grand Haven by placing in the top 30 was Justin Pippel, who placed 27th overall in a time of 15:43.

Ashkii Wilson (130th), Nick Johnson (167th), Jordan Diephouse (172nd) and Andrew Tafelski (175th) rounded out the runners for Grand Haven.

Highland-Milford’s Brian Kettle (15:07) was the overall winnner.
