Grand Haven places ninth at Division 1 girls state cross country finals

Grand Haven had two runners earn all-state honors as they finished ninth at the Division 1 girls state finals cross country meet at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

The Bucs finished with 306 points as Birmingham Seaholm took the team title with 69 points.

Roxy Glasser (18:26) placed 18th overall to earn all-state honors as the top 30 finishers earned that honor.

Claire Borchers (18:31) placed 28th for Grand Haven, while Malea Teerman (97th), Lindy Vallier (111th) and Hannah Kenny (129th) rounded out the scores for the Bucs.

Erin Finn of West Bloomfield placed first overall with a time of 17:07.
