Whitehall places 22nd at Division 2 boys state finals cross country meet; Ludington’s Luke Johnson earns all-state honors

Whitehall placed 22nd at the Division 2 state finals cross country meet on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

The Vikings finished with 507 points, while St. Clair won the team championship with 114 points.

Logan Irey led Whitehall with a 92nd place finish in a time of 16:41

Alex Dennis (121st), Keaton Smith (153rd), Brayden Berson (164th) and Reiley Brown (178th) rounded out the runners for Whitehall.

Ludington’s Luke Johnson earned all-state honors by placing in the top 30 with an 18th overall finish in a time of 15:53.
