Cedar Springs defeated Kent City 62-53 Friday night in OK Crossover boys basketball.
Jake Krueger and Austin Thompson each finished with 15 points but it wasn’t enough for the visiting Eagles, as four Cedar Springs players finished with double-digit scoring, including Cameron Link, who poured in a game-high 18 points.
Teammate Brad Brechting, a 6-9 sophomore, added 14 points and 16 rebounds.
It was the season opener for both squads.
