Grand Haven boys lose big lead, but regroups to trip up Holland Christian in overtime

Grand Haven let a first-half lead slip away before earning a 61-52 overtime win over visiting Holland Christian in the season opener for both teams on Tuesday night.

The Bucs led 30-18 at halftime, but were outscored 31-19 after halftime.

Grand Haven pulled out the win by outscoring the Maroons 12-3 in the extra session.

Sean Steffel led the Bucs with 24 points, Mack Carter scored 14 and Kevin LaCroix added 10 for Grand Haven.
