It took overtime, but the Holland Dutch came away Friday night with a 44-42 victory over Mona Shores in nonleague girls hoops action.
The Dutch posted a 7-5 scoring edge over the Sailors in the extra frame to earn the narrow victory.
Holland’s Alison Scudder led all scorers with 17 points, while the Sailors got 15 points from Sarah Jones and 14 from Jasmyn Walker. Walker also finished with nine rebounds and four steals in the loss.
