MASON COUNTY CENTRAL BEATS WHITEHALL IN WMC GIRLS BASKETBALL

Madison Geers scored 22 points and added seven steals to lead Mason County Central to a 59-38 win over host Whitehall in a West Michigan Conference game on Tuesday night.

The Spartans led 12-4 after one quarter and 35-13 at halftime.

Payton Bladzik chipped in with 14 points and nine steals for MCC.

Emily MacArthur led the Vikings with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Jenna Pesch scored 10 points.
