MASON COUNTY CENTRAL USES BIG FOURTH QUARTER TO BEAT NORTH MUSKEGON IN GIRLS BASKETBALL

The teams were tied after three quarters before Mason County Central took control in the fourth quarter to earn a 51-38 West Michigan Conference win over host North Muskegon,

MCC led 23-18 at halftime and teams entered the final quarter tied at 30-30 before the Spartans outscored North Muskegon 21-8 in the final quarter.

Madison Geers led MCC with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Holly Olenchak added 13 points and 18 rebounds and Kylie Mount grabbed 11 rebounds for the Spartans.

Alli Wierda led the Norse with 11 points.
