The Mona Shores Sailors received two goals from Reed Hrynewich and one each from Austin Swiatek and Alec Sturr and defeated Wyandotte Roosevelt 4-2 on Saturday.

Nate Rabbitt was the winning goaltender for the Sailors.

Swaitek, Hrynewich and Sturr scored in the first two periods to give Shores a 3-0 lead.

Wyandotte scored two goals in the third period to pull within a goal before Hrynewich added an insurance goal. That goal came while the Sailors were skating with a two-man advantage. Brandon Cottrell finished the game with three assists.

Mona Shores is now 5-0 and will take on Grand Haven at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at L.C. Walker Arena.
