The Muskegon Lumberjacks fell to 0-2 on their current five-game road trip with a 3-2 loss to the host Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday night.

Green Bay surged to a 3-1 lead after two periods on goals by Alex Kile, Grigory Dikushin and Trevor Olson.

In the second period, Muskegon got on the board with a breakaway goal by Joe Cox. In the third period, Riley Alferd scored to pull the Jacks to within a goal, but that would be their final red lighter of the night. Alferd’s shot hit the back of Green Bay goaltender Cam Hackett and dropped into the net.

Goaltender Jordan Uhelski stopped 31-0f-34 shots and saw his record evened at 3-3.

Hackett was the winning goaltender for Green Bay. He stopped 29-of-31 shots.

Muskegon returns to action in Green Bay on Monday night.
