Oakridge overcomes slow start, defeats Ravenna in boys basketball game

The Oakridge Eagles didn’t let an eight-point deficit in the first quarter ruin their night.

Instead, the Eagles scored 25 points in the second quarter to grab a 34-30 lead at the half and cruised to a 69-53 victory over Ravenna.

Mike Eacker led the Eagles (2-0) with 20 points. Austin Wright added 13 points and Dom Greenawalt had 10.

Colton Kantola shared game-high scoring honors with 20 points. Kyle VanderWoude added 11.
