Orchard View used ball pressure and fast breaks to down visiting Ravenna 73-34.

The Cardinals led 18-8 after the first quarter and built a 39-19 halftime lead.

“Defense dictated the tempo of the game for us tonight,” said OV coach Rodney Walker. “We took away their passing lanes and put a lot of pressure on the ball.”

Diamond McGee opened up OV’s second half, scoring eight of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter.

Jayshonna Blackshire scored 14 points and had eight steals, Daejia Hill added nine points and eight rebounds while Alisha Stone had six points and six steals.

Ravenna was led by Erica Adams with 17 points and Lindsey Jacobs with 12 points.
