Ravenna’s press took hold in the third quarter in the Bulldogs’ 56-32 victory over Fremont Providence Christian in girls basketball on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs pressed throughout the game, but in the third quarters, steals resulted in a 21-5 scoring advantage.

Erica Adams and Melissa Waters led Ravenna with 11 points each. Adams also had six rebounds. Lois Thornsbury and Lindsey Jacobs each contributed six rebounds.

“We’ve got to get better, but we played pretty good today,” Ravenna coach James Lane II said. “They worked hard and they were able to keep it going on the full court. We were able to get everyone involved.”

Bri DeKryger had 18 points to lead the Storm.
