NILES WINS ORCHARD VIEW INVITATIONAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT; FRUITPORT PLACES THIRD

Niles won the 12-team Orchard View Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday with 255 points.

Fruitport placed third with 153 and was followed by OV in sixth, Montague in seventh, Ludington in eighth place, Ravenna in ninth and Muskegon in 11th place.

Local champions were Fruitport’s Tommy Martinez (135), Collin Butler (140) and Chris Hendricks (285).

Placing second were local wrestlers Josh Brooks (103) Alex Foster (130) and Austin Fialeck (152) of Fruitport, OV’s Mike Parker (140) and Montague’s Sawyer Smith (145).
