A 19-3 run in the second quarter helped visiting Whitehall earn a 68-49 West Michigan Conference win over Ravenna on Tuesday night.

The Vikings led 14-11 after one quarter and increased the lead to 33-14 at halftime.

“All the credit goes to Whitehall players and coaches for taking the game to us, and the blame goes to me for not having our guys prepared for this game,” Ravenna coach Mark Vanderwal said. Ravenna had 32 turnovers in the game.

Dylan Medendorp led the Vikings with 18 points and Nick Decouto added five steals.

Jacob Sied led the Bulldogs with 17 points and Joe McKenna and Alex White added 10 points each.
