Montague used its balanced attack on Tuesday night to whip North Muskegon 66-48 in WMC boys basketball action.

Chase Casebolt scored 15 points, followed by junior Luke VanBoxel with 13 and Brandon Moore with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Senior post player James Boerema added 10 rebounds.

Sam Powell led NM with 20 points and Ryan Gannon had eight rebounds.

“Just had too much balanced scoring, rebounding and free-throw shooting by Montague for North Muskegon to come back,” NM coach Jeff Cooke said. “I was very happy we were able to cut it to nine points in the fourth.”
