The new-look Muskegon Lumberjacks turned in a solid performance on Friday night in a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Steel.
Muskegon received goals from Frederik Tiffels, Ben Storm and Adam Gilmour. Newcomers Christian Heil and Jeff Kubiak each drew an assist in the game as did Joe Cox and Mike Preston. Tiffels and Storm also assisted on Gilmour’s goal.
Goaltender Kevin Linkskoug posted the victory in net for the Jacks, who host the Indiana Ice at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at L.C. Walker Arena.
