Reeths-Puffer’s comeback fell short as Zeeland East topped the Rockets 48-44.
After trailing 31-24 at halftime, Reeths-Puffer held Zeeland East to seven points in the third quarter and came back to trail, 38-37 entering the fourth.
The Rockets couldn’t keep their momentum up in the fourth and scored six points in the final quarter.
Freshman Kalisa Williams led Reeths-Puffer with 18 points and Camaryia Williams added 15.
Aubrey Ende scored a game-high 28 points for Zeeland East.
