Kent City split its two games at the Holton Red Devil tournament on Saturday. The Eagles fell to Holton 4-2 in their opener and downed Ludington 12-2.

The Eagles were able to score a run in the sixth, but Holton held its ground in the final inning.

Tyler Hawkins led Kent City with three hits and an RBI and Cody Chapman had a hit and a run.

Travis Kielkem pitched a complete game against Ludington. Kielkem sturck out 10 and gave up four hits.

Kent City fell behind Ludington 2-0 after the third inning, but responded with four runs in the fourth inning and six runs in the sixth.

Tyler Hawkin went 4-for-5 with an RBI and Austin Thompson had three hits with a double and scored three runs.  Jayson Ellicott had two hits and two RBI and Justin Phillips and Jake Krueger each had two hits for Kent City.
