Ludington couldn’t stop the hot bats of host Benzie Central losing 13-6 in the opener and 13-11 in Game 2.

The Orioles trailed 6-4 in the fourth inning after Hunter Klug scored on a bases-loaded walk. But Benzie’s Joel Fields was able to pitch out of the jam getting a strike out and a pop out.

Benzie rallied seven runs in the bottom of the fourth closing the door on Ludington who scored a pair of runs in the fifth.

Chad Large led the Orioles at the plate with a hit and three RBI.

In Game 2, Ludington scored four runs in the top of the sixth taking an 11-7 lead. But Benzie followed up with six in the bottom half of the inning and shut out the Orioles in the seventh.

Joe Graham led Ludington with two hits including a double and two RBI while Klug had two hits and an RBI.

Andrew Kandelac and Large each had a hit and two RBI for Ludington.
