HESPERIA – The Hesperia offense rolled out for the season opener, scoring 33 first half points in a 47-7 Central States Activities Association win over White Cloud.

Kaleb McAree passed for 79 yard and two touchdowns to lead the Panthers, Brett Salisbury rushed for 97 yards on 17 carries and Eldon Graham finished with 11 carries for 52 yards. Wideout Elijah Olsen added five receptions for 49 yards and two TD’s and added a 62-yard punt return for a score.

“It was a great win to start the season,” Hesperia coach Todd Myers said. “Having zero penalties in the first game speaks greatly at the focus and disciple we had coming into this week.”

The Lions finished with 324 total yards, 224 on the ground and Brandon Goins finished with 12 tackles to lead a defense that held White Cloud to 58 total yards.
