Muskegon Lumberjacks individual game tickets go on sale Tuesday

Local Sports Journal

It may be humid and 90 degrees outside, but hockey is just around the corner.

Proof comes courtesy of the Muskegon Lumberjacks, who will put their individual game tickets on sale Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. at the  L.C. Walker Arena box office in downtown Muskegon.

The home season begins Saturday Sept. 28 against the Indiana Ice at 7:15 p.m. The regular season kicks off one week earlier, Sept. 21, in Green Bay against the Gamblers.

The Lumberjacks are introducing special sectional pricing for the coming season. Fans can choose between the red section (103, 108, 113 and 118) and gold section, which is the rest of the arena seating area. Tickets purchased in advance of the game day will be $10 for all sections, and remain the same price in the red section on game day. Tickets in the gold section increase to $13.50 on game days.

Children ages 3-12  will be admitted to any section for $6 regardless of when the ticket is purchased. Children under 3 can attend for free as long as they are sitting on the lap of another individual.

Season ticket packages remain on sale. They are $225 for adults and $150 for children ages 3-12. Season tickets will cover all 30 home games.

For more information, call the Lumberjacks at (231) 724-5225 or log on to www.muskegonlumberjacks.com  and look for the tickets section.
