Muskegon Catholic wins tri-match over Whitehall, Reeths-Puffer

WHITEHALL – The Muskegon Catholic girls golf team traveled north Thursday afternoon to take on host Whitehall and Reeths-Puffer, with the Crusaders winning the tri-match by seven strokes over the Rockets and  strokes over Whitehall.

The match was held at White Lake Golf Course.

Reeths-Puffer’s Mikaela VanDuinen and Hannah Moss shared low score, both finishing with a 49.

Catholic was led by McKenzie Doriot’s 52, and Whitehall’s Taylor Mikkelson led the Vikings with a  59.

Team scores: 1. Muskegon Catholic 224, 2. Reeths-Puffer 231, 3. Whitehall 270.

Muskegon Catholic – McKenzie Doriot 52, Lauren Bliss 53, Alyssa Delora 55, Madi Burda 64.

Reeths-Puffer – Mikaela VanDuinen 49, Hannah Moss 49, Brenna Veihl 66, Paige Baustert 67.

Whitehall – Taylor Mikkleson 59, Brooke Borgman 61, Taylor Boyd 65, Randi Mikkleson 85.
