The Muskegon Community College womens volleyball squad lived up to its No. 3 national poll ranking Thursday night, easily defeating Kellogg in three games 25-16, 25-13, 25-23.

The Jayhawks record now sits at 16-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

Brandie Jones led MCC with 16 Kills, seven digs and three blocks, while Meghan Birr had eight kills, 40 assists and eight digs in the victory.

Elyse Ray contributed to the winning effort seven kills, three digs and three blocks, with Beka German totaling seven kills, four digs and two blocks, and Amber Carmean finishing with 11 digs and three aces.

Autumn Winger and Lindsey Kotecki had six and four kills, respectively, and Brooke Morgan added seven digs in the win.

The Jayhawks play again Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Lansing Community College.
