Holton couldn’t withstand Reed City in girls basketball on Monday. The Red Devils fell 46-32 after Reed City pulled away in the fourth.

Reed City scored 16 points in the final eight minutes and went 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the quarter.

“It was a close game throughout,” said Holton coach Jayson Robins. “Reed City’s good man to man pressure defense forced too many Holton turnovers.” The Red Devils would finish with 30 on the night.

Katie Wildfong led Holton (1-3, 1-2) with nine points and four assists while Jacki Stone added seven points and seven rebounds.
