Emily Sexton hit a free throw with just seconds remaining to extend Grand Haven’s win streak to 57 games with a 34-33 victory over Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central. The free throw was Sexton’s only point of the night.

The Bucs fell behind 12-8 after the first quarter but managed to tie things up 16-16 before halftime. Grand Haven would take a 28-24 lead into the fourth only to see Central battle back.

Four players scored for Grand Haven and Amanda Merz led with 12 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Mallory Beswick scored 11 points and had three steals and Taylor Craymer had 10 points and six rebounds for Grand Haven (6-0).
