KENT CITY – The visiting Cedar Springs Redhawks hit their first six shots, including four three-pointers, en route to a 24-10 lead in the first nine minutes of their OK Crossover contest with host Kent City Friday night.

And although the Eagles went on to cut the Redhawk lead to six, and won the final 23 minutes, Kent City fell to 1-1 on the season.

Cam Link led all scorers with 28 points, including 12-12 from the free throw line.

Jake Krueger paced the Eagles with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while teammate Will Wilson had seven assists in the loss.
