The Ludington girls basketball team raced to a 17-0 first quarter lead and cruised to a 66-30 win over Grant Friday in Lakes 8 Conference action.
Madelyn Shank led a balanced Ludington scoring attack with 12 points. Brandi Thomas and Ali Plamondon added 10 points apiece while Kelli Wahr chipped in nine.
Kristen Reidenbach had six assists and four steals for the winners.
