The Mona Shores boys basketball team ran its record to 3-0 with a 66-53 victory over Fremont Tuesday in non-league action.

The Sailors nailed 12 three-pointers in the first half to grab a 38-24 halftime lead. Fremont fought back to within seven points with three minutes left in the game, but could get no closer.

Logan Haugh, Kobe Burse and Marcus Tumblin had 12 points apiece for Mona Shores while Cam Matthews and Adreon Billips each added 10.

Blake Siersema paced Fremont with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Dylan Krim had 12 points and five steals, Dan Geeting had 12 points and Jacob Kaastra had five points and five assists.
