The North Muskegon boys basketball team used a hot first half to defeat Hart 54-30 Friday in a West Michigan Conference matchup.
North Muskegon (1-1) led 30-14 at halftime and 47-28 after three quarters. The Norse defense limited the Pirates to two points in the fourth quarter.
Marcos Visconti led the Norsemen with 12 points while Ben Gautraud added 10 points. Brody Scott led in rebounds with eight.
Hart (1-1) was led by James Freeman with eight points.
