Morgan Giddings scored 19 points and had 11 assists, six rebounds and five steals to lead the unbeaten Oakridge girls basketball team to a 66-36 victory over Whitehall Thursday in West Michigan Conference action.

Whitehall took an early five-point lead, but Oakridge pressed on defense, grabbed six steals and built a 12 point lead after one quarter.

The Eagles led 35-15 at halftime, then cruised to the easy win with a 17-8 edge in the fourth quarter.

Megan Larabee contributed 18 points, six assists, six steals and four rebounds for the Eagles, who improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Hannah Reinhold added 15 points, including 10 in the first quarter, for the winners.

Jenna Pesch and Emily MacArthur scored 15 and 12 points, respectively, for Whitehall (2-2, 1-1).
