The Shelby boys basketball team used a huge first half to trounce Ravenna 71-22 Thursday in West Michigan Conference action.
The Tigers led 20-2 after one quarter and 49-10 at halftime, then cruised to the victory from there.
Jason Beckman paced Shelby with 24 points, Brody Lee added 11 and Michael James chipped in 10. Andrew Beckman had eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals for the winners.
Conner Beahan led Ravenna with seven points.
