Amanda Merz lifted Grand Haven over Hudsonville 48-35 in OK Black girls basketball on Tuesday. Merz put up 17 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals and four assists.

The Buccaneers had a strong first half as they led 27-15 at the break and built a 37-25 lead after the third quarter.

Taylor Craymer led Grand Haven with 12 points while Amy Kober added eight points in the winning effort.

Hudsonville (1-9) was led by Jewel Ro’s 10 points.
