A strong third quarter and strong performances lifted Mona Shores over Rockford Tuesday night 63-57.
The Sailors were down 29-22 at halftime and went on a 20-2 run in the third quarter by to take a 42-31 lead.
Jasmyn Walker’s 28 points and nine rebounds led the Sailors in the victory. Jordan Walker added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Sarah Jones had 12 points. Kelsey Wolffis led the Sailors in rebounds with 12.
Logan McCane led Rockford with 20 points, while Kendall Short added 11 points in the losing effort.
