The host Big Rapids Crossroads Academy girls looked good Thursday night versus Pentwater (4-5, 3-3), posting 20-plus points in each of the first two quarters en route to the 55-15 win over the Falcons.

Crossroads led 22-2 after one quarter and 44-8 at the break. The two teams combined for only 18 points in the second half, and just three in the final frame.

Big Rapids was led by Alyssa Larson with 22 points, while teammate Malory Calson finished with 11 for the Cougars.

Pentwater sophomore guard Emily Gebharp had seven points, and eighth-grader added four points in the loss.
